Welcome to the era of reproducing robots

The term Xenabots is a game-changer in the industry. Scientists at Vermont, Tufts University, Harvard, and Wyss university have discovered a new form of biological reproduction and used it to create the world’s first-ever self-replicating robots. This zenobot is composed out of frog cells, can swim in the water, find like-minded cells and replicate inside the mouth of its pac-man-shaped body. These cells replicate in an astounding manner that is different from any human or plant in the world. These zenobots will be highly likely used in manufacturing units and water plants. Some people have found this discovery exhilarating while others have raised ethical concerns. However, these robots resulted in a deeper understanding of an important concept- self-replication known as regeneration. Through xenobots, we can learn how to tell cells to do what we want them to do and that may prevent cancer, traumatic injury, birth defects, and aging.
